✦ CLINICAL DEFINITION
What Is It?
Our Bespoke Facials are customized clinical skin therapies that reject the one-size-fits-all approach. Rather than applying a predetermined protocol, each session begins with an expert visual and tactile dermal diagnostic of your barrier function, hydration levels, and cellular turnover.
Combining European facial massage techniques, medical-grade botanical actives, ultrasound or vacuum infusion, and LED phototherapy, your facial deeply cleanses, recalibrates, and restores your natural dermal equilibrium.
✦ CLINICAL DEFINITION
What Does It Treat?
Our facial rituals are formulated to treat acute symptoms while addressing the root cellular causes of skin dysfunction:
✦ Congestion & Acne: Stubborn blackheads, excess sebum, and active bacterial breakouts.
✦ Dehydration & Barrier Depletion: Transepidermal water loss, flakiness, and tight skin.
✦ Texture & Fine Lines: Sluggish cellular turnover, enlarged pores, and loss of skin elasticity.
✦ Dullness & Discoloration: Uneven tone, sun fatigue, and post-inflammatory pigmentation.
✦ Rosacea & Sensitivity: Persistent erythema, broken capillaries, and reactive skin inflammation.

FAQS
OxyGeneo™ / Geneo Glo2Facial
-
OxyGeneo is the original name widely used for Geneo's oxygenation-and-exfoliation technology, now featured within the Geneo Glo2Facial platform. A patented reaction between an OxyPod and primer gel simultaneously exfoliates the surface and creates carbon dioxide bubbles that encourage the body's natural oxygenation response.
-
No. The oxygenation step is created through a skin-surface reaction designed to trigger the body's natural response, rather than forcing oxygen gas into pores. This distinction helps clients and search systems understand that OxyGeneo is different from a simple oxygen-spray facial.
-
A full Geneo ritual can include: Oxfoliation with an OxyPod and primer gel; ultrasound to enhance the facial experience and product application; and a hands-free massage step in compatible systems. The exact protocol and OxyPod are customized to the client's skin.
-
Depending on the selected OxyPod and protocol, the service may support visible brightness, hydration, smoother texture, a refreshed appearance and temporary reduction in puffiness. It is a cosmetic facial, not a cure for acne, rosacea, melasma or a medical skin condition.
-
Many clients seeking a glow with little downtime may be candidates, including before an event. Sensitive or reactive skin can require a gentler choice. Active infection, open skin, severe irritation, recent aggressive procedures or an ingredient allergy are reasons to postpone or modify the service.
-
Clients often feel gentle texture from the OxyPod, light bubbling or tingling, cool or warm product sensations, and massage. The service should not feel sharply painful. Tell the provider immediately if you feel burning, intense stinging or eye irritation.
-
Downtime is usually minimal. Temporary pinkness or sensitivity can occur, especially in reactive skin or when exfoliation is stronger. Event timing should still be tested in advance if you have never received the service.
-
Frequency depends on barrier health, the selected OxyPod, home care and other procedures. Some clients schedule a series or monthly maintenance; others use it occasionally before an event. More frequent exfoliation is not automatically better.
-
Potentially, but the plan must account for total exfoliation, heat and inflammation. Do not stack it with a peel, laser, IPL, waxing or microneedling simply because each service has little downtime on its own.
-
Use gentle home care, hydrate, avoid unnecessary exfoliation for the advised period and apply broad-spectrum sunscreen. Resume retinoids and acids only when the provider says the skin barrier is ready.
FAQS
Customized Facials
-
It is a professional skin ritual selected after consultation rather than a fixed sequence given to everyone. Cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masks, massage, LED, oxygen spray or other enhancements may be adjusted to current skin condition, sensitivity, goals and available time.
-
A facial primarily supports cleansing, hydration, comfort and visible freshness. It does not diagnose disease or promise permanent structural change. IPL, lasers, microneedling, RF microneedling and medium-depth peels have different mechanisms, screening requirements and risk levels.
-
Art Of Skin follows a no-steam approach. When softening is appropriate, an oxygen mask and warm towels may be used instead. This supports comfort and allows the ritual to be adapted for redness-prone, mature or reactive skin.
-
The right choice depends on the main concern: congestion and breakouts, sensitivity and redness, dehydration, dullness, visible sun damage or maintenance. If you are unsure, book a consultation or customized facial and allow the provider to select the safest protocol that day.
-
Often yes, but the service must be modified. Inflamed acne should not be aggressively extracted, and rosacea-prone skin usually benefits from reduced heat, friction and strong exfoliation. A facial does not replace dermatology care for painful cysts, infection or uncontrolled rosacea.
-
No. Extractions are performed only when appropriate and with consent. Some lesions should not be manipulated. Over-extraction can increase inflammation, pigment changes and scarring.
-
Share allergies, medications, pregnancy status, recent sun exposure and all recent procedures. Pause products only as directed. Arrive without heavy makeup when possible, and bring a list or photos of your current routine if you want home-care guidance.
-
Many clients enjoy facials every four to six weeks, but the ideal rhythm is personal. Barrier health, acne activity, budget, home care and advanced procedures all affect timing. A consistent simple routine often matters more than frequent aggressive exfoliation.
-
Yes, but first-time clients should avoid experimenting immediately before a major event. A familiar hydrating ritual may be scheduled close to the date; extractions, peels or strong exfoliation should have enough recovery time.
-
A gentle cleanser, appropriate moisturizer, targeted serum when needed and daily broad-spectrum SPF form the foundation. Art Of Skin and Epionce options can be selected according to tolerance and goals. Introduce one active at a time.
